La Jolla (pronounced as La-HOY-a) is a quaint seaside town, known for it's rugged coastline and upscale living. Although most visitors think La Jolla is a separate incorporated city, it is actually part of the City of San Diego.

Several restaurants in La Jolla Village offer ocean views and Scripps Park which is the most photographed spot in San Diego is a great option, but savvy locals know that the jaw-stopper vista is up at the Torrey Pines “International” Gliderport where you can watch the paragliders and hang gliders soar above the 75 million year-old sea cliffs.
Village of La Jolla, is an old Mediterranean style village on the coast with a wide variety of unique shops, museums, hotels and restaurants. You can sip cocktails on the terrance of world famous Georges at the Cove, have an intimate dining experience at the open air patio of WhisknLadle or grab breakfast at the ever popular PrepKitchen. An easy way to explore all La Jolla has to offer is via a self guided walking tour which include the breathtaking La Jolla Murals sprinkled around the town that have been created by local San Diego artists.
The fun does not end there. La Jolla is home to seven sea caves that run between La Jolla Cove and La Jolla Shores. Grab a kayak and head out at La Jolla Shores to these amazing caves. A fun alternative is to visit The Cave Store which has a hidden tunnel that leads to Sunny Jim's Sea Cave.
